This is an English translation of our French privacy policy (politique de confidentialité), with an additional section for California residents. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
Data controller
LDT INVEST, 1 rue Marc Seguin, 26300 Alixan, France. Contact: contact@bylivia.xyz.
Data we process and why
- Account: email address, optional first name, country and language detected at sign-up; if you sign in with Google or Apple, the identifier that service sends us (never your password). A random device identifier (technical cookie) limits the free AI generation to one per account and per device. To identify you and save your projects.
- Projects: floor plans, rooms, furniture, moving checklist, name of the home. To run the editor and share it with the person you invite.
- Floor plans and photos sent to the AI: sent for analysis and then not kept by us; only the result (rooms, floors, notes) is saved in your project.
- Payments: handled by Stripe; we never see your card number, only the plan purchased and the amount.
- Ad measurement: only with your consent, Google Ads records that a visit coming from an ad led to a sign-up, a file upload or a purchase (with its amount). Your email address is sent in hashed form, to match the conversion to the ad.
- Assistant usage measurement: a non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address, to limit free trials.
- Activity monitoring: we are notified by email of key steps (account creation, first project, payment, invitation), with the country of connection. To monitor the activity of the service and support our customers.
- Tips by email: a few emails in the two weeks following sign-up (getting started, plans, invitation), then as the end of your editing period approaches. Each tip contains a link to stop receiving them. We don’t track whether these emails are opened, only clicks, through parameters added to the links.
- Analytics and campaigns, only if you accept: pages viewed, where you came from (ad, link, search engine), country, device and steps completed in the editor, to improve the site and know which campaigns work.
Legal bases
Performance of the contract (account, projects, plans), legal obligations (invoicing), legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention, activity monitoring, tips by email about our own service, which you can object to at any time), consent (analytics and ad measurement).
Service providers
Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payment), Resend (emails), Anthropic (assistant and analysis of floor plans and photos, without using your data to train its models), Liveblocks (real-time collaboration), Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads, with your consent), Hotjar (usage measurement, with your consent), Google and Apple (sign-in to your account, if you choose it). Some are located outside the European Union; transfers are governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Retention periods
Account and project data are kept as long as the account exists. Invoices are kept for 10 years (accounting obligation). Sign-in sessions expire after 60 days.
Cookies and storage
One cookie is needed to sign in. Your display preferences, your offline work and your cookie choice are kept in your browser’s storage. Your language choice is kept in a cookie for 1 year.
Two purposes are subject to your consent, separately. Analytics: Google Analytics, loaded by Google Tag Manager, and Hotjar, which records clicks, scrolling and journeys through the site to help us improve it (input fields are masked), loaded only if you accept. Advertising: Google Ads cookies measure which ads lead to a sign-up, a file upload or a purchase. Without consent, no advertising cookie is set and Google only receives anonymous signals, with no identifier. These cookies last at most 13 months; your choice is kept for 6 months and can be changed at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the page.
Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, request its portability or its deletion. Account deletion is available directly from the account menu. For any request: contact@bylivia.xyz. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

- Right to delete: you can ask us to delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, invoices we must keep). You can also delete your account yourself from the account menu.
- Right to correct: you can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
